The 2022-2023 Alliance Select Championships are drawing near, and in no time will be upon us and over with.
The final tournament is exactly two weeks away from March 30- April 2, 2023, hosted and held by Brantford Minor Hockey Association again this year.
Schedules and venues yet to be added / posted.
There is a good list of teams / competition, but if we all put our hockey sense, effort and team philosophy as a priority, our work ethic and talent can see us go far in this final tourney.
Absorb the experience- try to make the most of each opportunity you have been provided. Stay focused on your team and your role. Always respect your opponent. Refrain from anything that could be a distraction to your team or result in an undisciplined penalty or suspension. The ‘bad and ugly’ does not win hockey games or make for a fun experience. The ‘good and sacrifice’ wins hockey games and creates a lasting experience. Outworking your opponent, playing hard and playing with sportsmanship will garner positive results.

What are you willing to sacrifice to win? Think about how your actions affect others, including your own team.
Put all your great experiences together into one basket as a team, ever since you first put on skates, your Championships, your success' and heart breaks, how that felt, and bring it all to the ice each and every time you step on it, every warm up, every shift !
