September 3 Update - Evaluation Sessions and More!
Please Click The Article to read our posting

For U9 and older,  we will have 2 evaluation sessions on Saturday September 27 and Sunday September 28.   These are important as it gives the coaches an opportunity to assess the skill of the players so that we can make fair and balanced teams.  Please note this is not the regular ice time for the rest of the season

* U7 and Hockey School will not have evaluation sessions, and they start Saturday October 18.   Jersey pickup will be Wednesday October 8th.

The Division Convenor will be emailing everyone by September 18 with more information.  If you did not receive the email, please check your Spam / Junk Folder, or contact the convenor

Other important things to note about the evaluation days:

  • Arrive about 30 minutes before the start time to check in at the lobby and get dressed.
  • Players need full hockey equipment.  This also includes a neck guard.  For a list of equipment, see this link:
  • Players will need their own hockey jersey and socks for evaluations.  You are welcomed to wear last season’s jersey if you have it. (Team jerseys and socks will be distributed after teams are formed in October)
  • For U11 and under, please write your child’s first name on a piece of tape and attached it on the forehead of the helmet.  This will help the on-ice coaches communicate with the players
  • For U13 and under, the players will be doing a number of skating and puck handling drills, and may do a short scrimmage.  The older divisions will likely do just scrimmages

Team Drafts
The team drafts will occur the week of October 7th.  Your coach will be contacting you by thanksgiving weekend to introduce themselves and give you the team name.  Jerseys and socks will be handed out before the first team practice.

Coaches and Volunteers
If you would like to be an assistant coach or a trainer, please let me know as we have a couple more openings.  The more volunteers, the better for everyone!

The regular season with the new teams officially starts the weekend of Friday Saturday October 17.  There will be no hockey on Thanksgiving weekend.
