Respect In Sport - Parent Online Course
At least one parent / guardian of a hockey family will need to complete the Respect In Sport - Parent (RIS-P) online training module that is required by the Hockey Alliance of Ontario. This course will need to be taken only once per hockey family, and the certificate never expires. The course is designed to reinforce a parent’s role in a child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviours, and empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.
*** You may have done this in the past for another child of yours. If so, you will need to log into the Alliance web site to add any children you have to your account. Follow Step 2.
If you have done this for another Sport, you may be able to add your certificate to the Alliance Site.
