How much does it cost to register for Dofasco Minor Hockey and what is included in the fee?
For all registration fees, please see the Registration Page
The Registration fees covers:
-Jersey and Socks, (including names on Jerseys)
-Team Photos (Individual photos available at extra cost)
-All players will play on Super Saturday and receive a Team party after the game
-Referee Costs and Hockey Canada Insurance
Hockey School IP (aka Skating School)
One 60 minute on ice Skills session on Saturdays with Millennium Hockey Academy
U7
One 60 minute on ice Skills session on Saturdays with Millennium Hockey Academy, and One 60-minute game on Sundays
U9, U11, U13
One 60-minute Game and One 60-minute Practice each week
U15
One 60-minute Game and One 60-minute Practice each week until Jan1.
After Jan 1, Two 60-minute Games each week.
U18
Two 60-minute Games each week
What days of the week are practices and games?
Hockey School (AKA Skating School / U5 / U6) : Saturday Mornings (NEW DAY)
U7: Saturday and Sunday mornings
U9: Saturday and Sunday mornings
U11: Friday nights and Sunday mornings
U13: Monday nights and Saturday mornings
U15: Monday nights and Saturday afternoon
U18: Sunday and Monday nights

My child previously played at another minor hockey association. How do I register them at Dofasco Hockey?
Starting this 2025-2026 season, you no longer need to request a transfer or share to play at Dofasco. You can go ahead and register with us by clicking here. If you are having issues registering, please contact [email protected]
I'm trying to register on the HCR Spordle site but Dofasco Minor Hockey is not an option on my child's profile. What do I do?
Please email the registrar at [email protected] with your child's name and Date of Birth, and we will likely have to fix your child's profile on the HCR site.
My Child has never played Minor Hockey. What are the steps to Register them for the first time?
If your child has never played minor hockey, you will first need to create a Hockey Canada Profile before registering for a spot. Please see the Registration page for detailed steps
