I am not an employee of Dofasco, can I still register my child at DMHL?
Yes, you can still register with us, all are welcomed.
Can girls register with DMHL?
Yes, all are welcomed and can register and play at Dofasco Minor Hockey. All of our House League and Select teams are Coed.
*If your child's profile is listed as a girl / woman, you may need to contact our registrar as they default to the OWHL, and a transfer / share may need to be completed before registration can be completed.
What Age Groups are available at DMHL?
We offer Hockey School (U6), U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18
How much does it cost to register for Dofasco Minor Hockey and what is included in the fee?
For all registration fees, please go to the registration page, click on Register Now For 2026-2027 to view the fees
The Registration fees covers:
-Jersey and Socks, (including names on Jerseys)
-Team Photos (Individual photos available at extra cost)
-All players will play on Super Saturday and receive a Team party after the game
-Referee Costs and Hockey Canada Insurance
What days of the week are practices and games?

My child would like to play goalie, do you have equipment and any other info?
For players in U7 and U9, we typically encourage all players to try being a goalie at least once, however your child can play full time if no other player would like to volunteer during the season.
We have equipment for goalies that we lend out in U11 and under (also depending on the size of your child)
NEW FOR 2026-2027! We are now offering free goalie training. Please contact us for more info.
My child previously played at another minor hockey association. How do I register them at Dofasco Hockey?
Starting with the 2025-2026 season, you no longer need to request a transfer or share to play at Dofasco. You can go ahead and register with us by clicking here. If you are having issues registering, please contact [email protected]
I'm trying to register on the HCR Spordle site but Dofasco Minor Hockey is not an option on my child's profile. What do I do?
Please email the registrar at [email protected] with your child's name and Date of Birth, and we will likely have to fix your child's profile on the HCR site.
My Child has never played Minor Hockey. What are the steps to Register them for the first time?
If your child has never played minor hockey, you will first need to create a Hockey Canada Profile before registering for a spot. Please see the Registration page for detailed steps
