Dofasco Minor Hockey is now accepting applications for Head Coaches of our U9, U11, U13, U15, U16 and U18 Steelhawks Select teams for 2024-2025

Each Team will play approximately 14 Regular games, 8 team practices and 3 Tournaments (which includes the year-end Alliance Championships on April 5-7, 2024 in Brantford, ON). The cost will be roughly $695 (subject to change, depending on other games and tournaments each coach books). Home and Away Jerseys, Socks, and team photos are included in the above cost.

There will be 3 tryout sessions for each team. U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 Tryouts dates and times are listed below. U9 Tryouts will occur In November as the U9 Select season will not start until January 2024 (U9 does not play on Full Ice until January, as per Hockey Canada U9 Pathways). Our Plan is to have a U16 team if there are enough players to fill a team, and this decision will be made after the U16/U18 tryouts are complete.

Select Tryout Payments
Starting in 2023-2024, Dofasco Minor Hockey will only accept e-transfer payments to register for Select tryouts. NO CASH will be accepted moving forward. Select Tryouts will be $40 for the 3 sessions. Please use the following email address to send your payment: [email protected]
When sending an e-transfer, you must include the following information:
1. Player's First and Last Name
2. Parent's Frist and Last Name
3. Which select team are you tryout out for: U9, U11, U13, U15, U16 or U18
*please note there are No Refunds or Price Adjustments.

Select Team Payments
If your child has been chosen to be on a Select Team, and you accept to be on the team, Payment (e-Transfer) must be received by October 4th. The Select Head Coach and Team Manager will inform you of the fee.

U9 Information
*U9 Select starts later in the year, as these players follow the U9 Hockey Canada Pathway (half ice house league until January).
